Job summary
Hub Group Final Mile is seeking Owner Operator/Independent Service Provider Driving Teams for appliance delivery routes with basic hookup. Appliances include refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, dryers and more.
Responsibilities include timely delivery and installation, using basic tools, and following manufacturer specifications. A two-person delivery team is required; drivers must have a valid license and FMCSA/DOT authority. Local, home-daily routes with weekly settlements.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Contractor/Owner-Operator must have MC Operating Authority and DOT number.
- Must own, rent or lease a 26' box truck with a lift gate.
- Must provide a Driver Helper and own basic installation tools.
- Experience installing appliances preferred.
Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate delivery including installation of appliances.
- Select and use basic tools to assemble, adjust, and install various appliances.
- Must follow manufacturer installation instructions to complete installations.
- Maneuver items with appropriate equipment and assistance as needed.
- Provide a two-person delivery team.
