Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc is seeking a Project Manager II to oversee medium to high complexity projects and multiple initiatives. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and serve as the primary client contact to ensure successful project delivery.

You will lead kickoffs, develop budgets, and ensure adherence to contracts while fostering client relationships and internal collaboration across design disciplines and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 8+ years of project experience or 12+ years on similar projects.
• Professional Engineer licensure is preferred (required for ABET-engineered degrees).
• Experience managing healthcare projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to high complexity projects and multiple concurrent projects from kickoff to closeout.
• Act as primary client contact and coordinate multidisciplinary resources and subconsultants.
• Manage financial performance, budgets, and earned value; ensure timely invoices and revenue tracking.
• Develop proposals, manhour budgets, and ensure contracts align with obligations.
• Facilitate kickoffs, meetings, and documentation; drive cross-disciplinary solutions.
