Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking an Operations Support role for the Fertilizer House in Carson City, MI. You will oversee daily dry warehouse activities, operate blending equipment, dispatch orders, and ensure safe, efficient facilities and accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities include maintenance tasks, coordinating customer orders, and supporting special projects. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential, with a GED or high school diploma and prior operations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• One or more years in operations, warehouse, agricultural, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
• Experience operating equipment is preferred.
• Agricultural background preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn AgVance and related software.
• Self-starter with responsibility ownership and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations of the dry fertilizer facility and ensure efficient workflow.
• Operate blending equipment and use AgVance software to create blends and process orders.
• Dispatch and coordinate dry fertilizer orders to support customer needs.
• Perform routine equipment and facility maintenance and troubleshooting of minor issues.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment (housekeeping).
• Receive, store, and manage inventory with routine counts.
• Load, unload, and move products safely using appropriate equipment and maintain records.
