Job summary

Unimacts Global seeks an experienced Combi-Lift Operator to move oversized cargo (20+ feet wide) at our Sloan, NV facility. This is a specialized role beyond standard forklift work.

You will operate 5-ton and 10-ton combi-lift equipment, assess load dimensions, secure loads, and coordinate with ground crew and spotters to ensure safe, efficient handling of large wind and solar components. A background in heavy equipment operation and load balance is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating combi-lifts (5-ton min, 10-ton preferred).
• Background in heavy equipment/port or large-component logistics.
• Ability to judge clearance and load balance for wide loads.
• Excellent communication with spotters and ground crews.

Responsibilities

• Operate 5-ton and 10-ton combi-lift equipment to move oversized cargo (20+ feet wide).
• Assess load dimensions, weight distribution, and clearance requirements before lifts.
• Position and secure oversized loads with wider turning radii and extended mast reach.
• Coordinate with ground crew and spotters during moves in low-visibility environments.
• Load/unload oversized components from flatbeds, trailers, or rail cars.
• Inspect loads and equipment before and after transport for integrity and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance: cleaning, lubrication and basic upkeep specific to combi-lifts.
• Maintain records of weights, dimensions, and movement logs for oversized materials.
• Identify and report mechanical issues or safety concerns related to heavy-capacity lifting equipment.
