Job summary

Unimacts seeks an experienced Combi-Lift Operator at our Sloan, Nevada facility to move oversized cargo and components. This role requires operating 5-ton and 10-ton combi-lift equipment and collaborating with ground crew to ensure safety on loading docks and storage areas.

Qualifications

• Experience operating combi-lifts or comparable heavy-capacity equipment.
• Background in heavy equipment operation or related fields.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate 5-ton and 10-ton combi-lift to move oversized cargo (20+ ft wide).
• Assess load dimensions, weight distribution, and clearance before lifts.
• Position and secure oversized loads considering wider turning radii and extended reach.
• Coordinate with ground crew and spotters during moves.
• Load/unload oversized components from flatbeds, trailers, or rail cars.
• Inspect loads and equipment for integrity and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, battery/fuel management.
• Maintain records of weights, dimensions, and movement logs.
• Identify and report mechanical issues with heavy equipment.
• Judge clearance and spatial requirements for wide loads.
• Operate larger equipment in tight environments.
• Strong communication with spotters and ground crew.
