Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Protective Security Specialist to train U.S. contractors on weapons systems refresher training, conduct classroom and range instruction, and support protection teams as needed in austere environments.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, extensive security training experience, firearms instructor background, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel overseas to support Department of State Worldwide Protective Services Task Orders.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum of 2 years as an instructor in a security field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a FTE firearms instructor; from federal/state/local government training assignments.
• Minimum of 5 years in protective security assignments (2+ years in supervisory role).
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Valid U.S. Passport with at least 6 months remaining.
• English speaking/writing proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Train WPS III personnel in protective security practices.
• Coordinate and conduct refresher training and firearms re-qualifications for WPS III personnel.
• Support Protective Security Specialist duties as required by the CO/COR.
