Job summary

KBR seeks a Motor Transportation Mechanic for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program – Philippines (MCPP-PHIL). The role is based in Jacksonville, FL, with an overseas one-year assignment.

You will perform installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of motor transportation systems for USMC Expeditionary Forces, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities include planning maintenance actions, ensuring compliance with policies, and maintaining readiness of equipment and parts.

Qualifications

• Must pass a U.S. Government/FBI background investigation and obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Completion of Automotive Maintenance Technician course or equivalent.
• 4 years of directly related work experience.
• Ability to review technical specifications and requirements.
• Ability to forecast spare parts and maintenance needs.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• U.S. Stateside Driver’s License.
• Active Department of Defense secret security clearance.
• U.S. Passport.
• Must obtain Philippines Work Visa.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute motor transportation maintenance functions for MCPP-PHIL.
• Perform maintenance actions following contract SOW and policies.
• Repair, adjust, service, and store motor transportation equipment.
• Support equipment readiness and maintenance shop organization.
• Review invoices and requisitions to plan work activities.
• Maintain proficiency in all maintenance functions.
