Job summary

KBR is seeking a Shipboard Motor Transport Mechanic for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program based at Blount Island, Jacksonville, Florida, with duty assignments aboard ships in Guam, Saipan, or Diego Garcia. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing a range of motor transport equipment.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, a relevant automotive repair certificate, at least four years of related experience, and must be able to obtain a CAC and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certificate in automotive or electrical repair preferred.
• 4 years of related work experience required.
• Possess a valid state motor vehicle operator license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, services, inspects and repairs combustion-powered vehicles and trucks.
• Covers light combat vehicles and other motor transport equipment.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
