Job summary

RGNext seeks IT professionals to support theater and strategic missile testing, deploying and troubleshooting end user and network devices. This unaccompanied overseas role requires DoD baseline certifications and U.S. citizenship to obtain a Secret clearance. Benefits include housing and potential tax incentives on Kwajalein Atoll.

Responsibilities include MECM deployments, device support, and cyber security integration for enclave systems, with travel to outer islands as needed.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of directly related Information Technology experience.
• DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01 baseline certification for IAT Level II required prior to employment start date and maintained thereafter.
• Security+ or CySA+ or GICSP, or similar certification meeting DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01 baseline.
• CE (Computing Environment) Linux+, Server+ or similar certification meeting DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01 baseline.
• Ability to be self-organized and self-motivated to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Windows 11 and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and travel to outer islands.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

RGNext employees execute and report on theater and strategic offensive and defensive ballistic missile testing and support space situational awareness operations and experiments, using a wide array of highly sophisticated radar, telemetry and optical sensors to meet the needs of our nation in defending the United States and its interests.

This overseas position is located on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. It is an unaccompanied position (no family accommodations or pets). Benefits of this unique location include free housing, three meals a day and potential for overseas tax incentives.

What You Will Do:

• Install, configure and troubleshoot end user and network devices such as computers, laptops, printers, and other hardware.
• Deploy and configure end user and network devices via MECM and PXE deployments, to include computers and laptops and any other applicable hardware.
• Provide touch labor services - including but not limited to installation, troubleshooting, software, security, vendor patches and repair of physical hardware.
• Apply extensive knowledge of a variety of Cyber Security field concepts, practices, and procedures to ensure the secure integration and operation of enclave systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or experience in lieu of education.
• Five (5) or more years of directly related Information Technology experience.
• Security+, CySA+, GICSP, or similar certification meeting DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01 baseline certification for IAT Level II required prior to employment start date and required to maintain certification thereafter.
• CE (Computer Environment) Linux+, Server+ or similar certification meeting DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01 baseline certification for IAT Level II required prior to employment start date and required to maintain certification thereafter.
• Ability to be self-organized and self-motivated to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Windows 11 and Microsoft related applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively evaluate and fix STIG settings on an end user device including but not limited to a workstation, laptop, or printer.
• Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs. independently.
• Must be able to travel to outer islands via boat/helicopter for workstation and printer deployment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a base driver’s license.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Must be able to relocate to the United States Army Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.
• The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support projects or mission requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Demonstrated ability to effectively use PowerShell, VBS, or other scripting language.
