Job summary

OBXtek is seeking a Logistics Technician to execute logistics and inventory management for the organization, domestically and overseas. The role requires navigating program policies with supervision and mentoring as needed.

The position covers inventory procedures, asset lifecycle management, fleet reporting, overseas shipping readiness, and safe operation of vehicles and forklifts to move materials.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training required; relevant experience may substitute.
• Two years of experience in logistical and inventory management disciplines.
• Familiarity with CMMS, ILMS, and inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supports annual inventory procedures and audits to ensure asset accountability.
• Maintains historical records of property transactions for inventory control.
• Manages storehouse/warehouse inventory, inventory levels, receipts, storage, and transfers.
• Conducts asset lifecycle management from procurement to disposal.
• Prepares training equipment and inventory for overseas shipping per guidelines.
• Provides fleet management reports to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Safely operate government vehicles and forklifts for loading/unloading.
