Job summary

Amentum seeks an experienced Base Communications Officer (BCO) Site Manager to oversee the Base Communications Office operations on Diego Garcia for a government contract. The role covers switch operations, inside plant maintenance, and external cabling, ensuring PWS and QMS compliance.

Candidate must have at least ten years’ experience in BCO operations, be eligible for US Secret clearance, and capable of deploying in an austere overseas environment with a multinational team.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in Base Communications Office operations on a government contract or military installation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US passport and driver’s license for employment.
• US Secret clearance eligibility and ability to obtain/maintain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Base Communications Office operations including the Base Telecommunications Distribution System and switch operations.
• Supervise a multi-national workforce in austere OCONUS environments.
• Ensure compliance with PWS and Amentum QMS and safety/quality procedures.
