Summary:

The Armed Security Guard provides security, access control, roving patrols, surveillance, monitoring, and overall safeguarding of the installation and its tenants. This is a U.S. Army installation, which includes an access gym, workout facilities, PX, Burger King, and MWR.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• If military experience is referenced, candidate must have a DD214 from within the last 10 years.
• May require a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (CGS - Kosovo can sponsor new clearances).
• At least two (2) years of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or armed forces operations within the past 10 years.
• Completion of a state-recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or armed forces security/law enforcement training. Verification via certificate or DD214 (honorable discharge).
• Current/active U.S. Passport.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check, including fingerprints, with a clean record.
• Experience and knowledge of security operations and basic force protection.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Medically fit and able to undergo medical testing.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with documentation.
• Pass a Physical Ability Test: run 1.5 miles in 17:30, 21 pushups in two minutes. No exceptions allowed.
• Willing to undergo random drug testing.
• Work schedule: approximately 48 hours/week, with possible variation and overtime as assigned.
• Physical and environmental fitness to perform duties under various weather and terrain conditions, meeting all U.S. Government requirements.
