Summary:

The Armed Security Guard provides security, installation access control, roving patrols, surveillance, monitoring, and overall safeguarding of the installation and its tenants. This is a U.S. Army installation, which includes an access gym and workout facility, a PX, Burger King, and MWR.

Requirements:

1. U.S. Citizen; if military experience is referenced, candidate must have a DD214 within the last 10 years.
2. May require a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (CGS-Kosovo can sponsor new clearances).
3. At least two (2) years’ experience in armed security, armed law enforcement, or operations within the Armed Forces, civilian police, or commercial security within the past 10 years.
4. Completion of a State-recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or armed forces security/law enforcement training; verification via certificate or DD214 (honorable discharge).
5. Current/active U.S. Passport.
6. Willingness to undergo an NCIC/FBI criminal background check, including fingerprints; must have a clean criminal record.
7. Experience and knowledge of security operations and basic force protection.
8. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
9. Medically fit and able to undergo medical testing.
10. Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with documentation.
11. Pass a Physical Ability Test (run 1.5 miles in 17:30, 21 pushups in 2 minutes); no exceptions.
12. Willingness to undergo random drug testing.
13. Work schedule: 48 hours/week, with possible different schedules and additional hours as assigned.
14. Maintain physical fitness for guard duties under various weather conditions, meeting all physical and medical requirements specified by the U.S. Government contract.
