Summary:

The Armed Security Guard provides security, installation access control, roving patrols, surveillance, monitoring, and overall safeguarding to the installation and its tenants. This is a U.S. Army installation, which includes access to the gym and workout facilities, as well as a PX, Burger King, and MWR.

Requirements:

1. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
2. If U.S. military experience is included as referenced experience, candidate must have a DD214 issued within the last 10 years.
3. May require a U.S. Secret Security Clearance; CGS-Kosovo can sponsor new clearances.
4. Have at least two (2) years of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or armed forces operations within the past 10 years.
5. Completed a State-recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or an armed forces security/law enforcement training program. Verification via certificate or DD214 (honorable discharge) is required.
6. Possess a current/active U.S. Passport.
7. Willing to undergo an NCIC/FBI criminal background check, including fingerprints. Must have a clean criminal record.
8. Experience and knowledge of security operations.
9. Experience with basic force protection.
10. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
11. Medically fit and able to pass medical testing.
12. Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with appropriate documentation.
13. Pass a Physical Ability Test, including running 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes and completing 21 pushups in two minutes. No exceptions allowed.
14. Willing to undergo random drug testing upon request.
15. Work schedule is 48 hours per week, with possible variations and additional hours as assigned.
16. Maintain physical fitness to perform guard duties in various weather conditions and terrains, meeting all physical and medical requirements as per the contract.
