Summary: The Armed Security Guard provides security, access control, roving patrols, surveillance, monitoring, and overall safeguarding of the installation and its tenants. This is a U.S. Army installation, which includes an access gym and workout facility, as well as a PX, Burger King, and MWR.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be U.S. citizens.
• If U.S. military experience is included, candidate must have a DD214 issued within the last 10 years.
• May require a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (CGS-Kosovo can sponsor new clearances).
• At least two (2) years of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or armed forces operations within the past 10 years.
• Completion of a state-recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or armed forces security/law enforcement training. Verification via training certificate or DD214 (honorable discharge).
• Current/active U.S. Passport.
• Willingness to undergo an NCIC/FBI criminal background check, including fingerprinting. Must have a clean criminal record.
• Experience and knowledge of security operations.
• Experience with basic force protection principles.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be medically fit and pass medical testing.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with documentation.
• Pass a Physical Ability Test: run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes and complete 21 pushups in two minutes. No exceptions allowed.
• Willing to undergo random drug testing.
• Work schedule: 48 hours per week, with potential for different shifts and additional hours as assigned.
• Physical and environmental requirements: Maintain physical fitness to perform duties under various weather and terrain conditions, meeting all medical and physical standards required by the U.S. Government contract.
