Summary

The Armed Security Guard provides security, installation access control, roving patrols, surveillance, monitoring, and overall safeguarding to the installation and its tenants. This is a U.S. Army installation, which includes an access gym and workout facility, as well as a PX, Burger King, and MWR.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen
• If U.S. military experience is included, candidate must have a DD214 within the last 10 years for verification
• May require a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (CGS-Kosovo can sponsor new clearances)
• Two (2) years’ experience in armed security, law enforcement, or armed forces operations within the past 10 years
• Completion of a State-recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy or armed forces security/law enforcement training program (verification via certificate or DD214)
• Current/active U.S. Passport
• Willingness to undergo an NCIC/FBI criminal background report, including fingerprints, with a clean criminal record
• Experience and knowledge of security operations
• Experience with basic force protection
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Medically fit and able to undergo medical testing
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with documentation
• Pass a Physical Ability Test (run 1.5 miles in 17:30, 21 pushups in 2 min); no exceptions
• Willingness to undergo random drug testing
• Work schedule of 48 hours/week, with possible different hours and additional hours as assigned
• Physical fitness to perform guard duties in various weather and terrain conditions, meeting all physical and medical requirements
