Job summary

Pathway Society, Inc. is hiring a Withdrawal Management Technician to provide direct care for clients in the detoxification phase under the supervision of the Program Director.

The role requires CNA or related certifications, strong communication skills, and the ability to work nights/weekends in a full-time position with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and email in a Windows-based PC.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and maintain a valid CA driver license.

Responsibilities

• Support and care for clients in the detoxification process.
• Conduct regular checks on clients’ physical and mental status and ensure safety per protocol.
• Monitor client status with facility-provided tools and take vitals at prescribed intervals.
• Document client activity in charts and shift logs.
• Monitor medications in the electronic health record and store medications per protocol.
• Assist with client admission and discharge paperwork and related duties.
