Wegmans is seeking a Warehouse Selector to join our distribution team in Virginia. You will accurately and efficiently pick products for Wegmans stores, leveraging attention to detail and teamwork to ensure timely deliveries.
Shift: Overnight, four 10-hour shifts weekly. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, perform quality checks, and help maintain cold-chain integrity on temperature-controlled loads.

Work schedule: Overnight positions consist of four 10-hour shifts per week

Experience operating a pallet jack; Work Environment: The physical demands of this work are classified as heavy. Work includes prolonged walking and standing and frequent heavy lifting, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending and reaching, including reaching and lifting above shoulder height, in order to assemble store orders in a variety of warehouse settings in a fast paced environment. Work also involves moving containers or cases onto pallets and/or into shipping containers for distribution to the stores. The average weight range of items lifted is 20-25 pounds with maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally to frequently. May receive assistance with heavy items, if available. Upper extremity repetition is moderately high and trunk movement involves moderately high to high twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is indoors with ambient (60° - 85°) temperatures and may involve exposure to cold (33° - 55°) and/or freezing (-20° - 20°) temperatures. Protective clothing is provided. Basic tools and equipment used include powered pallet jack, pallets, fork truck, pallets, shipping containers and labels, computerized picking system, and headset.
