Job summary

Refresco Beverages US Inc. seeks an Overnight Warehouse Supervisor to lead the night shift in a fast-paced production plant. You will direct staff, plan loading priorities, coordinate with trucking partners, and drive inventory accuracy while controlling costs.

This role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and effective communication across teams. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in manufacturing, forklift certification, and strong skills in SAP, Excel, and warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Must be forklift certified and operate powered industrial trucks safely.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the work of other employees in a production environment.
• Plan loading priorities and direct the loading workforce to meet customer demands.
• Coordinate with trucking firms for timely pick-up and delivery while minimizing costs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and implement processes for consistency.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA, GMPs, PPE and environmental standards.

Position: Overnight Warehouse Supervisor

Shift: Overnight (9 PM–6 AM)

Essential Job Functions

• Adhere to and ensure compliance with all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Adhere to and ensure compliance with food quality and food safety guidelines per Refresco, customer, and/or governing bodies (e.g., SQF) standards.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees.
• Have some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions.
• Establishes priorities and directs loading workforce to satisfy customer demands.
• Plan and execute logistic needs with trucking firms to ensure timely pick‑up and delivery of shipments while minimizing freight cost.
• Implements and enforces processes aimed at creating maximum inventory consistency and accuracy.
• Reviews and resolves operational problems to minimize cost and prevent operational delays.
• Manages assigned business metrics/budgets including yield, labor efficiency, and overhead expenses.
• Demonstrates leadership to warehouse employees to ensure consistent quality of work.
• Maintains effective communication of expectations and goals throughout the warehouse environment.
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA and environmental regulatory and corporate standards; investigate and identify root causes of any non‑compliance.
• Accountable for a safe working environment through the development of strategies focused on accident reduction as well as energy and waste minimization.
• Oversee effective deployment of human resources throughout the department and ensure the correct administration of the collective bargaining agreement, when applicable.
• Be a certified forklift trainer.
• Back up to Department Manager responsibilities.
• Represent the company in a positive manner at all times.

Required Skills

• Proven Leadership and ability to develop employees.

Education and Experience

• Minimum: High School Certification or equivalent (GED); undergraduate degree in a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment; food/beverage manufacturing experience is preferred.

Working Conditions

• Work schedule: Weekdays, weekends, afternoon, evenings, overnight, and holidays may be required. Overtime scheduled as needed.
• Work environment: Operating in a fast‑paced production plant with numerous moving parts. Noise level requires hearing protection, and temperatures can be very hot or relatively cold. The environment is structured and supervised.

Travel Requirements

• Travel anticipated: Rarely.

Physical Requirements

• Visual/Sensory – Regular need to give moderate attention with one or two senses at a time.
• Coordination and Dexterity – Excellent hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise control of equipment.
• Mental Stress – Pronounced pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy, and similar demands.
