Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets is seeking a warehouse selector to accurately pick products for Wegmans stores. You will work on the distribution team, paying close attention to detail and collaborating with teammates to ensure timely, correct deliveries.

Overnight shifts consist of four 10-hour shifts per week and may involve cold environments. Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, and Vocollect is preferred; an extra $2.00 per hour for frozen positions is noted.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environments and a willingness to learn safety rules.
• Capable of standing for long periods and handling heavy items as needed.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy during order selection.

Responsibilities

• Build pallets safely and efficiently to maximize space and reduce damage.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jack, forklift, or Vocollect as required.
• Perform order audits to ensure accuracy and quality of picks.
• Maintain knowledge of product quality standards and specs.
• Communicate daily quality issues to operations management.
• Maintain cold-chain integrity for affected loads; adapt to temperature needs.
• Lift 20-25 lbs on average; occasional heavier lifting as needed.
