Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Material Handler Specialist to support overnight operations within our distribution center. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products while ensuring inventory accuracy and a safe work environment.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting, and collaboration with team members to meet daily distribution goals.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience with order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes.
• Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or inventory tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect inbound shipments, verify quantities, and identify discrepancies or product damage.
• Accurately pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment using warehouse management systems and established procedures.
• Load and unload trucks safely using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment.
• Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and help resolve inventory discrepancies, shipment issues, and other operational challenges.
• Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support daily distribution center goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
