Job summary

McKesson Corporation in Kentucky is seeking a Material Handler Specialist to support overnight operations at our distribution center. You will receive, store, pick, pack, and ship products while ensuring inventory accuracy, efficiency, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role runs Monday-Thursday, 6PM-4:30AM with mandatory overtime. Key responsibilities include inspecting inbound shipments, selecting orders with a WMS, loading equipment, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining a clean,

Qualifications

• Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience with order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes.
• Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or inventory tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect inbound shipments, verify quantities, and identify discrepancies or product damage.
• Accurately pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment using warehouse management systems and established procedures.
• Load and unload trucks safely using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment.
• Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and help resolve inventory discrepancies, shipment issues, and other operational challenges.
• Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support daily distribution center goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
