Job summary

Staff Management Solutions, LLC in Champaign, IL is seeking a Material Handler for the 3rd shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am) to support production of eco-friendly bottles and containers. You will monitor quality and operate cross-trained equipment in a climate-controlled factory environment.

The role requires no educational prerequisites, but you must lift up to 60 pounds, use a hand pallet jack, and handle a rotating schedule (3 days on, 2 off; 2 on, 3 off).

Pay Rate: $15.50 - $17.00 / hour

Duties

Work towards a greener tomorrow by manufacturing eco-friendly bottles and containers while monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process. Associates will be cross-trained on various factory equipment and processes related to production, sorting, picking, and packing products. Work attire is casual, but associates must dress in clean, professional clothing suitable for a warehouse/production environment.

Position Requirements

The chosen applicant must have:

• Ability to work nights (7:00 pm - 7:00 am) & schedule cycle of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, repeat.
• Able to use basic hand tools, including a hand pallet jack.
• Strong interpersonal skills & desire to be a productive team member.
• Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 60 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
