Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops to support inbound and outbound activities. You will follow SOPs to pick, pack, and ship orders, while maintaining safety and productivity standards in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities include operating various material handling equipment, performing quality checks, and collaborating with the team to ensure timely fulfillment. Training is provided; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
• RF scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building, and wrapping pallets.
• Pack, load, and prepare orders for shipment per SOP.
• Operate material handling equipment as required by job duty (e.g., order picker, forklift, reach truck).
• Perform routine housekeeping and inventory control tasks in a safe, clean work environment.
• Communicate concerns to management and participate in associate meetings.
