Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our Overnight Recovery team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will provide overnight care for recovering orthopedic patients, monitor comfort, administer medications, and perform hourly assessments.

Responsibilities include supporting feeding, walking, cleaning, and ensuring safe discharge. Two years of clinical veterinary experience required; overnight Monday-Thursday availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
• Must be able to work Overnight, Monday–Thursday.
• Positive attitude, self-motivation and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor post-operative comfort and administer medications.
• Perform hourly patient assessments.
• Support daily care: feeding, walking, cleaning, and discharge readiness.
