Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our Overnight Recovery team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will provide attentive overnight care for recovering orthopedic patients, monitor comfort, administer meds, and perform hourly assessments.

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
• Ability to work Overnight, Monday-Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Monitor post-operative comfort and recovery hourly assessments.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document accordingly.
• Provide overnight care including feeding, walking, and cleaning.
• Ensure discharge readiness and safe recovery experience.

Veterinary Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Group is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our Overnight Recovery team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Annapolis Junction, MD.

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing attentive overnight care for recovering orthopedic patients. Your life-changing work will range from monitoring post-operative comfort, administering medications, and performing hourly patient assessments, to supporting daily care needs including feeding, walking, cleaning, and ensuring a safe recovery experience through discharge readiness.

Your Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $24 – $26 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
