The University of Florida Veterinary Hospitals at WEC in Ocala (40,000 sq ft) seeks a Veterinary Technician I/II (Care) to assist clinicians with equine and small animal examinations, treatments and hospitalization nursing care.

The successful candidate must have horse handling skills and a solid base of veterinary knowledge and be eager to learn. UF offers competitive pay, extensive medical benefits, shift differentials, CE opportunities, PTO and relocation assistance.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; one year relevant experience for Technician I.
• Credentialed veterinary technician required for Technician II.
• Horse handling skills and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clinicians with equine and small animal examinations, treatments, and hospitalization nursing care.
• Support patient handling, nursing tasks, and routine care as part of the UF Veterinary Hospitals team.
