Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Veterinary Assistant experience.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by examinations, care plans, and records.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs and administering meds.
• Assist during examinations and procedures with supplies and equipment.
• Provide nursing care and monitor patient status.
• Maintain medical records and update the database.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status as directed by veterinarian.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized hospital environment.
• Assist with discharge and proper medication administration.
