Are you a dedicated Overnight Veterinary Technician searching for a rewarding career in Emergency and Critical Care? Look no further! Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital's state-of-the-art facility located in Woburn, MA is seeking passionate individuals to join our dynamic team.

As an ER/CC technician, you will focus on inpatient and outpatient care alongside our large team of Board-Certified Critical Care Specialists.

About the Role:
  • As an ER/CC Technician, you will play a crucial role in partnering with our ER Doctors and Criticalists, providing top-notch customer experiences, and delivering outstanding patient care.
  • Your day-to-day tasks will involve:
    • Triaging incoming patients and managing clients throughout their visit
    • Partner with DVM’s in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
    • Obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates
    • Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient assessment
    • No need to fret over emergency surgical cases, we have on-call boarded surgeons and on-call technicians for the overnights!
Schedule:
  • Typically three 12-hour shifts, but we are flexible pending your needs
  • 7p – 7a
  • Rotating Weekends
Compensation:
  • $21 - $30 pending skills assessment leveling
  • Even higher for VTS!
About You:
  • You are a confident, skilled, and experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care.

  • You must have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not limited to):
    • Venipuncture
    • Placing IV Catheters
    • Drug Calculations
    • Administration of Medications (IV or other methods)
    • Taking Vitals
    • Gathering Medical History
