Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an experienced ER/ICU Veterinary Technician to join our team. This full-time role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with an hourly pay range of $20.00–$40.00 depending on experience.

The position focuses on triage, patient history, CPR initiation when needed, and placement of IV access as well as advanced catheters. You will monitor hospitalized patients and mentor colleagues while delivering high-level care.

Qualifications

• Experience in ER/ICU veterinary care and critical patient management.
• Ability to perform triage, obtain patient history and support resuscitation when needed.
• Proficiency with placing IV access devices and advanced catheters.
• Competency in calculating and setting up CRIs and monitoring hospitalized patients.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history.

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an experienced ER/ICU Veterinary Technician!

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our team.

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays.

As An ER/ICU Technician, You Will

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Calculate and set up CRI's
• Monitor and care for all levels of hospitalized patients.
• Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
