Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
• Ability to administer oral and IV medications as directed.
• Ability to calculate medication dosages accurately.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document patient vitals and comfort levels.
• Administer oral and IV medications as directed by the surgical team.
• Assist post-operative patients with mobility and comfort care.
• Check catheter sites and bandages for cleanliness and security.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the surgical team.
• Maintain a clean and organized ward, including laundry and dishes.
• Assist with patient restraint for radiographs as needed.
