Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists in Buzzards Bay, MA is seeking experienced Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Technicians to join our overnight team. This role offers hands‑on care for critically ill patients, collaboration with specialty clinicians, and the chance to impact pets and families when it matters most.

Qualifications

• Credentialed technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligible within 6 months.
• Minimum 2 years of ECC or emergency nursing experience.
• RECOVER certified or interest in obtaining certification.
• VTS (ECC) candidates encouraged to apply.
• Strong interpersonal, technical, and critical thinking skills.
• Positive, calm demeanor in fast‑changing situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency triage and obtain vitals.
• Assist in stabilization and intensive care procedures.
• Administer treatments, medications, and fluid therapy.
• Monitor pain, vitals, and clinical trends in real‑time.
• Assist in anesthesia and emergency surgical prep.
• Communicate directly with doctors, support teams, and families.
• Use advanced EMR systems for efficient and accurate patient tracking.
