You will work with a collaborative team across emergency and primary care services, providing nursing support, animal handling, and client communication.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of veterinary assistant experience, comfort with restraint and basic medical terminology, and familiarity with EzyVet or SmartFlow is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary assistant.
• Comfort with basic nursing care, husbandry, restraint and assisting veterinarians.
• Experience handling animals and performing basic animal care tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated on veterinary practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with clinical tasks.
• Provide basic nursing care and animal husbandry.
• Handle restraint and monitor animals during procedures.
• Support client communication and care instructions.
