Description

Position: Overnight Valet

Location: Texas Medical Center 77030

Shift: Flexible shifts, Full Time (11pm-7am), rotating weekends

Pay: $14/hr up to $16/hr

The Valet Attendant ensures the safe and efficient parking of guest vehicles while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client’s expectations. Responsibilities include responding quickly to customer requests, providing caring interactions, working closely with team members and supervisors to meet quality and safety standards, and adhering to laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobilize and coordinate valet process: retrieve keys, vehicles, load guest vehicles, issue tickets, and use electronic devices for customer info.
• Build rapport with customers, address inquiries, and provide directions.
• Act as a courteous brand ambassador: interface with guests, open vehicle doors, unload vehicles.
• Implement safety procedures: direct traffic, barricade, park cars, inspect for damage, report incidents.
• Handle financial operations: collect fees, reconcile revenue.
• Greet guests, assist with unloading, retrieve keys, and park vehicles properly.
• Inspect vehicles for preexisting damage, record info accurately.
• Assist guests with loading luggage, respond courteously to inquiries.
• Manage traffic, barricades, towing when needed, report incidents promptly.
• Reconcile end-of-shift revenue, communicate professionally with guests and team members.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Quick learner, sound decision-making, able to operate guest vehicles
• Physical ability to move for extended periods
• Previous valet experience preferred
