Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, seeks an Ultrasound Technologist II to perform ultrasound examinations under the direction of a physician, ensuring accurate imaging and patient comfort.

The position is full-time (36 hours/week) with night shifts, an overnight differential, and relocation assistance; ARDMS certification and BCLS are required, with pediatric experience preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• ARDMS registration in a registry beyond physics (OB/abdomen/etc.).
• BCLS (Healthcare Providers) certification.
• At least 1 year of ultrasound experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound exams under physician direction.
• Prepares patients, verifies identity, and ensures exam quality.
• Reviews images for quality and accuracy; maintains timely studies.
• Instructs students and other staff on protocols and positioning.
• Maintains infection control and documents procedures.
