Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk in the Produce department to deliver excellent customer service and maintain fresh, inviting displays. You will engage with customers, share product knowledge, and stock products across multiple departments in a fast-paced grocery setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety procedures, and active involvement in store operations, with a night-hour shift from 12am to 2am. Prior retail experience is helpful but not required.

What You'll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You'll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
