Meijer in Highland Heights, OH is hiring a Food Clerk to help keep our Fresh departments well-stocked and welcoming. You’ll build positive connections with customers and teammates, stock and merchandise products, and use store technology to complete tasks accurately.

This role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Weekly pay and education support are included as part of our rewards program.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.

10PM - 6:30AM

Having availability on Friday, Saturday & Sunday are mandatory

What You'll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
