Walden Local Meat Co. on Shawsheen St in Tewksbury, MA, is hiring an Overnight Truck Loader for a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule from 12:00–8:30am.

You’ll ensure vans are loaded and ready before drivers arrive, participate in a packing line, and help move products from trucks to the warehouse. We offer 401k, medical/dental/vision coverage, paid holidays, and special perks like free meat and member discounts.

Qualifications

• Attendance history showing punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds.
• Willingness to jump in and do whatever needs doing.
• Able to speak and read basic English.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Load and prepare delivery vans for morning routes.
• Work on a team-based packing line adding dry ice and dry goods.
• Load and unload freight trucks with products from partners.
• Perform general warehouse maintenance; operate forklifts/pallet jacks as trained.

Overnight Truck Loader (Full Time)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:00-8:30am

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Walden Local is excited to be growing in New England and we're looking for the next member of our Preload team! As a member of our Preload team, you'll be responsible for making sure our daily delivery operations go off without a hitch each morning. You'll work on a mixture of team-based and independent tasks, including: working on a team-based packing line to add dry ice and dry goods to deliveries, loading delivery vans, loading and unloading freight trucks and general warehouse maintenance. What You'll Do:

• Work on a team-based packing line
• Ensure all delivery vans are properly loaded and ready to hit the road prior to drivers arriving
• Load and unload freight trucks with products from our partners
• Complete general warehouse maintenance tasks such as compacting cardboard
• Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks to move orders around the warehouse as needed (no prior experience necessary with the equipment, we will train you!)

What You'll Bring:

• History of excellent work attendance
• Ability to lift and move 35 pounds
• Willingness to jump in to do whatever needs to get done
• Able to speak and read basic English
• Valid driver's license and clean driving history for the past 3 years

• Pick and pack experience
• Warehouse experience
