Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Hebron, Kentucky is hiring a Transportation Supervisor to directly supervise a team of drivers and ensure safe, timely deliveries. This full-time, overnight 3rd shift runs Monday through Friday, 6:00pm to 3:30am, with day-one benefits and a comprehensive package.

You will use routing and dispatch procedures to optimize multi-stop routes and maintain DOT compliance. Required: high school diploma or GED, 1 year of transportation management in food distribution, knowledge of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of transportation management experience in the food distribution industry.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• AS/400 experience preferred.
• Truck routing software experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at work level.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safe, timely, and accurate deliveries using routing and dispatch procedures.
• Review driver logs, hours of service, and DOT requirements to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate activities with other distribution center departments to ensure timely deliveries.
• This position has additional duties. Special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion.
