West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center in Huntington, NY is seeking an experienced Overnight Technician Attendant to join our 24-hour veterinary team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to care for boarding and hospitalized animals and to support veterinarians and technicians during exams and treatments.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary or animal care experience (1 year preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and a love for animals.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

• A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for boarding and hospitalized animals.
• Assist with patient handling and restraint.
• Support our veterinarians and technicians with exams and treatments.
• Administer medications and help fill prescriptions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinic environment (including laundry and general upkeep).

As part of the West Hills Animal Hospital family of practices, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most experienced veterinarians and veterinary professionals across six locations. We’re currently hiring for Weekday Overnight.
