Job summary

Saint Joseph's Center is seeking an Overnight Shift Supervisor to lead and mentor direct support professionals on the overnight shift. The role emphasizes ensuring proper staff coverage, safety, and adherence to program policies.

You will participate in onboarding, staff development, and interdisciplinary teamwork to maintain quality care and a supportive environment for clients and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Lead orientation for new staff and support ongoing staff development.
• Ensure appropriate staff ratios, cross-train employees, and assist in managing absences.
• Contribute to development of program plans as an active member of the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor direct support professionals on the overnight shift.
• Maintain a safe environment and oversee program materials and equipment.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and monitoring DSPs on shift responsibilities.
• Participate in in-service training and team meetings.
• Implement Saint Joseph's Center mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures.
• Foster cooperative relationships among coworkers and supervisors, promoting trust.
• Remain flexible to changes in duties, priorities, methods, and environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
