Job summary

Giant Eagle, Inc. is seeking a Night Team Leader to manage the Overnight Team across multiple departments including Center Store, Prepared Foods, Produce, Bakery and Meat in Ohio.

You will coach a diverse team, maintain department records and standards, and promote a respectful, inclusive work environment while ensuring safe, efficient store operations. You will lead, train, and evaluate Team Members, plan work schedules, and monitor performance to drive guest service and operational results

Qualifications

• Retail work experience or Store Leader recommendation.
• Experience leading teams and coaching.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select and train Team Members.
• Direct the work of Team Members.
• Appraise Team Members’ productivity for promotions or status changes.
• Handle Team Member issues including complaints.
• Discipline Team Members.
• Plan and distribute the work among Team Members.
• Provide for the safety and security of Team Members or the store.
• Manage the department or location budget.
• Manage inventory for the department or location; monitor compliance.
