Job summary

WorldStrides is seeking Seasonal Overnight Student Chaperones for the Washington DC metro area (Fall 2026 and Spring 2027). Duties include monitoring hotel floors overnight, ensuring safety, and reporting any incidents to the Night Chaperone Coordinator. Availability October/November and February–June is required; travel to on-site DC locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Word and Excel and email; comfortable using a smartphone.
• Ability to see, read, talk, and hear to communicate effectively.
• Capable of performing physical requirements including stairs and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor for student misconduct and report incidents during overnight hours (9:45 PM–5:00 AM).
• Provide safety and responsiveness on tour with coordinators.
• Treat participants and staff with respect and professionalism.
• Follow hotel procedures for check-in/out and group introductions.
