Job summary

Walmart Inc. in the United States seeks a Store Leader to guide and develop teams across store operations in Byram, MS. You will coach associates, implement training, monitor performance, and drive initiatives aligned with OBW service model and community programs.

You will manage budgets, analyze profit/loss, ensure merchandising excellence, and lead change efforts while maintaining exceptional customer service. Strong supervisory experience and a commitment to inclusion are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; general work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching training and actively listening to associates, touring stores, providing feedback and communicating store objectives.
• Drives the financial performance and sales by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses; ensures merchandise presentation and inventory flow.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, fosters belonging, recruits and develops qualified staff, and supports change initiatives.
