Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an Overnight Operations Supervisor to lead store staff during overnight shifts and assist with overall store operations, inventory, and merchandising presentation. You will help ensure a safe workplace and protect company assets while supporting other managers as needed.

Responsibilities include training associates on overnight procedures, coaching staff, monitoring performance, enforcing safety practices, and maintaining organization in backroom and stock areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Ability to operate a cash register and manage deposits.
• Familiarity with safety and facility control policies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of safety practices and plan-o-gram compliance.
• Willingness to obtain required food handling certifications.

Responsibilities

• Train associates on overnight operations, stocking procedures and productivity standards.
• Coach overnight staff to meet company standards and performance goals.
• Assess completion of tasks and provide feedback to associates.
• Implement performance standards and recommend corrective actions to Store Managers.
• Conduct safety meetings and train on safety practices including equipment use.
• Maintain a clean, safe store and ensure equipment is functional and safe.
