Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an overnight stocking supervisor to oversee store employees during overnight operations and assist with efficient management of store operations, inventory and merchandise presentation.

You will help maintain safety, protect company assets, and support other managers as needed. Responsibilities include training associates, coaching performance, and enforcing standards across stock, backroom and front-end tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of retail clerk experience.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Train all assigned associates on overnight operations procedures including stocking and productivity standards.
• Coach overnight associates to maintain company standards and assess work performance.
• Implement performance standards and measures; recommend corrective actions to Store Managers.
• Conduct safety meetings and train associates on safety practices and equipment use.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and ensure safe working/shopping environment; ensure equipment safety and sanitation.
• Ensure proper execution of recovery standards, stock rotation, and backroom organization.
