Job summary

Meijer in Kentucky is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and ready for customers, supporting a smooth shopping experience.

You will move products from pallets to the correct shelves, pull backstock, keep back-room areas tidy, and work overnight shifts as needed while upholding safety and team teamwork.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks daily.
• Comfortable with basic technology and following procedures.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and maintain safety.
• Team player with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.
