Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Stocking Clerk in Michigan to keep shelves stocked with a variety of food and grocery products. You will move stock from pallets to the correct shelf locations, pull backstock, and maintain organized back-room areas to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

You will collaborate with leadership to complete assigned areas on time, learn basic technology, and thrive in a fast-paced team setting. Weekly pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Able to learn and use basic technology.

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l‑cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.

• You’re comfortable learning and using basic technology

• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
