Job summary

Whole Foods Market in University Heights is seeking a Team Leader/Stock Crew supervisor to assist with scheduling and supervision, ensure smooth department operations, and maintain compelling displays. You will support Team Leaders, Order Writers, and Team Members to deliver excellent customer service in accordance with SOPs and health/safety standards.

The role emphasizes training, inventory processes, and maintaining high morale, with a focus on retail execution and positive company image.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• Ability to supervise and delegate tasks.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Effectively supervise and delegate tasks based on department needs.
• Work with leadership to resolve team concerns or issues.
• Respond to customer and Team Member needs and concerns.
• Assist in sorting and stocking processes for at least 75% of the shift.
• Assist in training using learning checklists and materials.
• Maintain a positive work environment and high team morale.
• Complete inventory, spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Track productivity of the stocking crew using case counts.
• Open and close department per procedures.
• Set and achieve high standards of retail execution.
• Foster teamwork and exceptional morale.
• Manage customer flows and direct Team Members to delight customers.
• Select, train, develop, mentor, and counsel Team Members.
• Provide timely performance evaluations.
• Communicate and model WFM vision and goals.
