Meijer is hiring an entry-level Stocking Clerk responsible for ensuring shelves are stocked and ready for customers. You will engage customers with product knowledge, perform merchandising tasks, and support store operations while following safety and efficiency standards.

This role emphasizes hands-on organization, teamwork, and a friendly customer service approach. Overnight shifts help prepare the store for each new day, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position focused on customer service, merchandising and retail tasks.
• Ability to learn and follow store procedures in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
